Hi, I’m Hank. I'm a Catholic photographer serving families across Northern Virginia and the Diocese of Arlington. My work is rooted in a love for Our Lord Jesus Christ and a desire to honor Him through the moments I capture.
From weddings and sacraments to the beauty of everyday family life, it’s an honor to preserve these memories for families who strive to live their faith each day.

My journey into photography began in the middle of my IT consulting career — a fast-paced and demanding world where I found myself searching for something more meaningful.
What started as a fun and creative outlet quickly became something deeper. Photography taught me to slow down, to see beauty more clearly, and to appreciate the moments that often go unnoticed.
Around that same time, I was received into the Catholic Church in 2020. My faith, like photography, felt like a calling — one that brought clarity, purpose, and direction to my life when I needed it most.
Together, these two paths began to shape not only how I saw the world, but how I wanted to serve others.
On the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, I decided to bring along my camera to capture a few beautiful moments from the liturgy.
A family happened to see the photos I later posted on social media and reached out, asking if I would photograph their daughter’s baptism the following week.
I said yes, and that simple request changed everything.
From that moment on, Hank Jiang Photography was born. What began as a single baptism has grown into the privilege of serving many families, capturing weddings, sacraments, and the moments that define a life lived in faith.
It’s a responsibility I don’t take lightly, and one I’m grateful for every time I pick up my camera.
